JANUARY 2016 NEWS
State and National Titles
Hi All .
Happy new year to everyone.
Congratulations to all who competed in the recent 37th Nacra nationals at the Adelaide sailing club.
It was a fantastic event and very well run regatta. A big thanks goes to the team at the South Australian Nacra association.
Queensland sailors managed to win all the classes. Sailing ranged from 5 knots to some very windy and rough days.
A fleet of 30 boats attended the event which is a great turnout for the distance to be travelled.
The Nacra Queensland container made the trip once again with 8 boats inside, thanks to everyone for making the packing of the boats a breeze.
All sailors learnt heaps from the event as well with 13 races and managed to ask many questions to fellow sailors about the speed of the boats.
Please see the link for the full results.
If you ever never attended a Nacra nationals I fully recommend it, with so many races held over a short period of time you manage to learn more in that one week than you do all year at a club level.
